About The Wee ADHD Tartan Co.
The Wee ADHD Tartan Co. is a Scottish social enterprise founded by Beth and Mel, two women who know first-hand what it means to live with ADHD. Built on lived experience, genuine community values, and a deep love of Scottish heritage, everything we create is designed to celebrate neurodivergent minds rather than manage them.
We are the home of A Spark of ADHD, Scotland's dedicated ADHD tartan. Designed with intention and registered with pride, the tartan captures the energy and beauty of the ADHD mind. The central orange represents that electric spark of focus igniting from chaos. Gold honours the strength and value of neurodiversity. Deep blue provides the calm and balance that our community works so hard to find. Together, they tell a story that every ADHD individual and family will recognise.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), every penny we generate is reinvested into our mission. That mission is to advocate for the ADHD community, raise awareness, and create products that are crafted with sensory needs genuinely in mind. We are not a business that talks about purpose and means profit. The community is not separate from what we do. It is the entire reason we exist.
Our products are handmade to order and developed with care, from the fabrics we choose to the labels we sew. We are rooted in the rugged landscapes of the Scottish Highlands, drawing on the ancient tradition of tartan as a symbol of belonging, identity, and pride. That tradition means something to us, and we carry it forward for a community that deserves to be seen.
Whether you are neurodivergent yourself, a parent, a partner, or simply someone who believes the ADHD mind has something remarkable to offer the world, you are welcome here. This is a space where being Neurosparkly is something to celebrate.
Welcome to The Wee ADHD Tartan Co. We are so glad you found us.
Managing the Mist
Every message is received with genuine care but the pace here is steady rather than fast. Please expect a reply within 72 hours. If things are particularly busy or the fog is thick it might take up to a week to see a response.
Healthy boundaries help the volunteer team stay sustainable so checking the inbox every ten minutes is not required. For those who find forms overwhelming a direct email or social media message is a great alternative. Voice notes on Instagram are also a brilliant way to communicate if typing feels like a chore today.
As a Community Interest Company every enquiry helps support the mission of advocating for the neurodivergent community.
